Maureen's health has been on an upward trajectory, and she continues to make remarkable progress every day! After undergoing an MRI scan on November 13th, her neuro oncologist, Dr. Youssef, confirmed that the results were great and there has been no growth/active tumor growth since her last scan on September 18th. Maureen's lab numbers were also excellent, and as a result, her chemotherapy treatments have been stopped early. 

 

MO is CHEMO-FREE!

 

Dr. Youssef praised Maureen for doing an excellent job and believes she will notice improvements in her functional/physical state after being off chemotherapy for a while. Now, Maureen is free from chemotherapy and only needs Avastin treatment every three weeks instead of every other week. She is thrilled to continue working hard in physical and occupational therapy and looks forward to practicing driving to gain more independence. It's truly amazing to see how far our mother has come. Her resilience and determination are truly inspiring and a testament to the power of perseverance and prayer.
