In 2006, Matt Hearn and his wife Lori moved to Pooler Georgia to start Gateway at the Pooler YMCA. Since then, God has moved mountains, hundreds of people have been saved, lives have been changed, marriages have been restored and so much more. Recently, Matt was diagnosed with a rather large, cancerous tumor attached to his kidney. We trust that God is Jehovah Rapha: The Lord, Our Healer. We are holding onto and believe the promises in the Bible!

Here is the most recent news on my Spindle Cell Sarcoma. This is a dangerous cancer that leaves me with about a 10% chance of survival over the next two years. At this point it’s in God’s hands, it always was anyway, but it’s a little clearer now. So we are praying and believing.
