Matt took many mission trips over the years, to Mexico, to Chile, and to Haiti. In recent years, he became passionate about a ministry in Kenya which provides school and feeding funds for marginalized youth. He was able to provide funds to purchase land and for a school to be built and was planning to finance teachers, staff, and food for students. Memorial funds, unless otherwise designated, will be sent to New Dawn Ministries of Hope to continue his vision.
