Today is surgery day yay!!!! DJ is in great spirits after sleeping all yesterday ( despite his mother wanting to hang out with him but it’s whatever ). Soon my precious little pumpkin loaf’s face will be empty of any tubes. Which is exciting. Dj is going in for his G-tube surgery at 11pm. He did so well with his feeds being transition from his NJ to NG that we can do a g-tube instead of a GJ tube woah.  This surgery was one of the major thing we ended to get done in-order  get him home by December. It feels amazing checking that off our list. Dj is also getting an eye exam and circumcised while he’s under anesthesia. He’s had an Nj tube pretty much his whole life.  Change can be hard but this is a good change. It’s a monument to how far Dj has come and how strong he is. I’m still nervous sending my baby for surgery but it’s something that he needs so I’m glad we’re getting it over and done with.
