It has been a little over six months since Mary's liver transplant, and all is going very well.  She has blood tests every other week to monitor the liver functions.  The liver has done well since the transplant.  Currently she is feeling very well.  Some time ago we would go for a three-block walk; now we commonly go for 1 or 1.5 mile walks.  We are very thankful for her progress. 

We are thankful to our heavenly Father for walking with us each step of the way.  And we are thankful to all of you for the encouragement, prayers, cards, flowers, and delicious meals brought to our home.  You impressed the nurses at Nebraska Medical; they had hardly ever seen a patient receive so much mail. We spent a lot of time together reading the cards and the comments on Caring Bridge.
