Mary Volkert 7/18 update - Sorry I haven't posted for awhile - lot going on - Mary continues to rock physical therapy - walking over 300 feet 3 repetitions with quad cane and minimal balance support!  Walked on grass, was on the putting green, made most of her putts, 3 - 7 feet! Speech is slow but getting some new sounds and a few new words. Sounds like they're sending us home to continue  out-patient therapy (Speech, Physical & OT) in Cherokee - our date for leaving Des Moines is Saturday July 24! Mary can't wait to get home! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You all  SO MUCH for supporting us on our journey this far, whether with support and prayers, donations or letting us know you're pulling for us - your support has been overwhelming and truly has kept us going! Keep it going - the finish line might be a ways away but knowing you are all behind us is what will get us there! Love You all very much! God bless each and every one of you!
