Mary’s Birthday is  April 25 and in honor of her we ask you to do something in her memory and generous and caring heart during the month of April.  Please pick one or several from below and after done share with us what you did! You can check it off, share pictures, share a story on carebridge, facebook (#marystrong) and/or email it to us.

We have broke down ideas into three areas that were so important to Mary: Love for Other People, Love for Animals and Nature, and Faith.  Pick one thing, one from each list or more! Our hope is that this month we can make the world a little better in honor of our sweet girls 1^st heavenly birthday since she will forever be 7.

Love for Others

• Send someone cheer: Send a letter or small gift in the mail to someone having a hard time or do a porch drop of something to someone struggling with something whether it is medical, spiritual or Psychological.
• Raise awareness for DIPG: tell someone Mary’s story and about DIPG
• Donate to a DIPG foundation in honor of Mary. Some of her Favorites are:

• Spend some time and read to someone who can’t whether that is because of age, ability, medical issues, Mary loved her story time even in her last few days.
• Have a treat with those you love on April 25^th in honor of Mary’s Birthday and sing her Happy Birthday

Love for Animals and Nature

• Donate to One Cure CSU Vet in honor of Mary and her love of animals and research for new treatments for cancer in all living beings

• Show love to an Animal Shelter: Donate supplies, volunteer your time, and/or adopt an animal in need
• Special Treatment of an Animal: give an animal (yours, a stray, a loved ones) a special treat, spend more time with them and/pr read to them. Mary loved cuddling, brushing, giving extra treats to, and reading with her cat.
• Plant a garden or flowers- Mary loved helping in the garden and was especially proud of her strawberry patch.
• Garden for kids: Help your parents in the garden.

Faith

• Novena: To the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

• Rosary: Please say a rosary for all those DIPG Angels and all those battling
• Adoration: Spend an hour or more in Adoration praying for all those battling cancer and all those who have gone to be with God after their fight.
• Mass: Attend Mass on April 25^th (her birthday)
