Mary’s Story

Site created on June 28, 2018

Mary Moren is a wonderful, kind and loving wife and mother, who is deeply loved by her family and friends. She has always been a light in the darkness for those around her to help guide them through whatever troubles they have in their lives. However, now Mary is in need of the extra light of love and kindness of those around her. Mary was recently diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. While she is staying strong and positive, she could use the support of her loved ones in this difficult time. Those who know Mary know her as kind and generous, always thinking of others, but now she will need her rest and will have limited energy for visits and contact. The amount of contact already received from concerned family and friends is a testament to how much she means to all of us, but keeping up with everyone on an individual basis is difficult for her. We have started this page to post updates on her health, her ability to receive visitors and requests for aid or assistance. We appreciate all your support and love for Mary in her time of need. Please feel free to come to this page and post well wishes and journal comments. We will update the site with items that the family needs help with as they arise, anyone who would like to help would be greatly appreciated. We will monitor the page regularly and pass on as much information as possible. Thank you for taking time to visit this page and read this message, Mom is so important to us and we want her around as long as possible. We love you Mom.

Journal entry by Joseph Grosso

Hello everyone. I'm writing today to let everyone know that we are planning Mom's Celebration of Life. I'm sending this out in hopes of reaching everyone we may not be able to reach through other means. We will be holding it on October 19th, 2019, at the Veteran's Memorial American Legion Hall, in Meridian, Id. It will run from 2pm to 8pm, snacks & beverages will be provided. We are planning it as an open house style event, so come when you can & stay as long as you want. Mom loved the coast, so we are planning a beach theme, feel free to wear comfy beach themed attire if you'd like. We would like this to be a happy, easy going event the way Mom wanted it. Mom loved to sing Karaoke, so there will be a Karaoke machine, Mom story sharing & other events throughout the day. We would love to see all of you, please come & spend some time remembering Mary with us. If you have any questions or would like to help with the event, please text or call Dad (Ron Moren) at 208-870-1695. I will also continue to check this journal, so feel free to post any questions & I will do my best to answer them. The address for the event is listed below. Love & best wishes to you all!
