Our Miss Peggy continues to do beautifully!  She is walking beautifully and is just amazing!  Peggy is in a setting that is aiding her much in her journey.  It is what she calls "She-She", but she loves it so! She is under the direction of a new physician and he is doing wonderful work and we are so grateful for his contributions to her care and the day to day quality of her life.  We elected to try cognitive medications again, at a more conservative rate and a special cocktail of two that are working well together to improve Peggy's cognitive level.  She is working so hard and doing things she has not done in quite some time!  She is making her bed, showering without issues, writing, painting, playing games, selecting clothing, baking and visiting with friends.  She spends many days visiting with friends and family.  She loves her time out and we are prepping for winter, and allowing her to enjoy time out as often as possible.  Peggy loves watching Grey's Anatomy and classics such as The Andy Griffith Show.  She is starting to enjoy the wonderful Christmas Shows that have started.  She will be sharing her Thanksgiving with one of her favorite caregivers, Katrina and perhaps me depending how much fun she has with Katrina and her family.  We plan to start working on her Christmas Card Mailing and she is determined to make some very special Christmas presents for those she loves this year.  Last week, Peggy was blessed with a visit from her twin sister Patty and her brother in law Dave!  She continues to communicate with her other sister Lorna and her daughter Heather, via telephone and facetime!  We could not be happier with our little power house and all the work she has completed and her desire to improve more.  Her beautiful smile says much and yes...….today is a Good Day!
