Journal entry by Allie Dorris —
Hello again,
I wanted to update you guys now that my mom has gone through a couple weeks of the new treatment. AND its my moms BIRTHDAY tomorrow, Monday, the 26th! So send the love <3!!!!!
The new chemo has been more tolerable for her, and as of right now we believe her doctor is going to keep her on just this one, and not add anymore. We have a lot of hope she can make it through the chemo plan living a semi normal life, and not just trying to get by like she was on the previous chemo plan. She is trying to overcome the idea of losing her hair as many people do while enduring chemo. She is looking towards September for possible end date for chemo, but as we know, we have to stay flexible for any new development.
If you would like my moms home address to mail something to her, email me at alliejdorris@gmail.com, also feel free to email me for any information or questions you might have
Warmly,
Allie
