We've had quite a weekend with family celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving. Tomorrow, my Mom travels home to Winnipeg with my brother and his family bringing to a close the 'franticness' of the past few weeks. We'll settle into our 'new normal' which brings with it an uneasiness but also hope. Mary Lee meets with the oncology team on Thursday to lay out her options and possible path(s) for treatment. 

A few of us shared a lovely dinner of leftovers at the Taylor household this evening. These two photos capture everything. I think my Mom is struggling with worry and fear - so hard at her age (89!). My brother, Lindsay, has a kind soul who also looks to comfort his sister.

We're so very thankful for the gift of family and the many, many friends who have sent their well wishes and prayers to Mary Lee. Each and every one is so very coveted.
