MaryK and I clicked immediately in a presentation for parents at the Simpson Center program. She recommended me for a position, & working with that team was a career highlight . We remained friends in spite of distance &had a jolly visit in December.

Knowing Mary Kay since about 1975 while teaching together at Simpson Early Childhood Center in Bethalto, IL, has been a great blessing to me. She will always be remembered as the kindest, hardest working, most professional teacher ever created by God.

Mary Kay and I used to talk about the old days from high school and I would send her pictures of my granddaughter. We had something in common that we both lost our spouses. My wife died about a year after Scott died. She always had an upbeat attitude.
