A lovely Earth Day (together apart) event that Sarah Schrock sent me today. I will be out there tomorrow working on a little landscapito!
Memories for Mary.
Memories for Mary.
As we celebrate Earth Day this week, many of us are grieving the loss of our friend Mary Kiesau.
To honor her passing, her dedication, and her love of the natural world, you are encouraged to get outside into nature this Earth Day and create. Be it a poem, a card, a landscape sketch, a wildflower drawing, a photograph, or a painted stone - please make something (small in size but big in heart) in her honor and drop it to one of the following locations until April 29th.
Twisp: Velocity Made Good Studio at TwispWorks _Perri Howard's Studio (small wooden mounted drop box).
Winthrop: Methow Conservancy Deck: (Cardboard Box with Mary's name on back deck).
Mazama: Methow Valley Ski School and Rentals -Kevin's Shop (box near front door bench).
Items will be collected and assembled in an artful and lovely vessel or box of some kind and given to Merle to share with all those who were close with Mary. If you don't get out on Earth Day, remember that everyday is Earth Day and you have until April 29th to contribute a memento.
