Cookies, banana bread, grilled chicken?
Who needs help? Who has been injured? Family member sick? Not to worry Mary is on the case.
Now - it’s Mary’s turn.
After heroically delivering four dozen cookies (much to Tom’s dismay - “outbound”, he says, with visible disappointment) - to St. John’s, Mary tripped on a loose brick, or her sandals couldn’t keep up with her pace, and she fell. A shattered heel didn’t slow her down at first, as one might expect, but as her stride turned to a limp, then a crawl, Tom realized medical attention was needed.
Mary has been laid up for close to a week, awaiting the arrival of a specialist surgeon to piece her heel back together.
We’ll be updating this site frequently to ensure all remain abreast of this situation - surgery is on 8/28 - we’re expecting a 3 month recovery. Wish her well and please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
