Results are in!  Bone marrow biopsy revealed no Leukemia in my bone marrow.  Dr Warlick was delighted, although she mentioned how the two year mark is really the telling point.

We talked about lots of things, my vaccinations, skin, and bones.  Many things can be affected by the chemotherapy I had.  She will be monitoring things for a while.  I seemed to have developed a cold, mostly a deep cough, no fever or other symptoms.  I think I caught it at the clinic on Feb 17 when I went in for my bone marrow biopsy.  The doctor did a nose swab, not very pleasant and sent me for a chest X-ray.  Later that day, she called me to tell me my X-ray was clear, but the nose swab indicated I had the Flu!  She called in some meds and told me to lay low for a few days.  Kinda put a damper on my plans.  Vaccinations delayed because of my cold, Flu.

Labs seem to be more difficult now, as the nurses seem inexperienced in drawing blood from my arm.
i suppose they are used to dealing with ports and central lines.  They bring in an ultrasound machine and still have a hard time.  Kim at my regular doctor doesn’t seemed to have a problem getting blood.

Other good news, they discontinued the last two drugs I was on.  Just a multi vitamin now, calcium, and vitamin C.  Just have to get back into taking them.

Looking forward to Spring!
