Mary Ann’s Story

Site created on August 18, 2023

As you may know, Mary has been struggling with some serious digestive health issues lately, which resulted in a visit to the ER about a month ago. Since then, she's been on the long, patient road to recovery, awaiting further surgery. Mary appreciates all the love and support she's receiving from her family and friends during this very difficult and demanding time. Please leave any thoughts, prayers, and messages here. More updates as they come!

Journal entry by Jairus Abts

Mary is officially back home. She's really looking forward to being back in a place of comfort. It's been almost 4 weeks that she's been in the hospital or transitional care. She's still making progress recovering from surgery but it's been a lot of physical and emotional work. She'll continue having regular medical and rehabilitative care visits at home, which takes a lot out of her. So, unfortunately, she's still not up for visits just yet. Please continue sending messages here. She'll respond to texts and calls as she's able. Thanks for the love and support everyone.
