Marty’s Story

Site created on April 5, 2019

My brother Marty was diagnosed with advanced cancer the end of January and started his first chemotherapy treatment last week.  He is doing  well and has the best attitude.  His doctors and many others have all commented they've never seen anyone with his attitude.  We know his attitude along with such great support from family and friends will get him through this difficult time.  He is strong and exercising every day.  We would really appreciate your prayers.  Please feel free to leave comments here for him as I know he would love to see them.

Journal entry by Ilene Levinson

My dear sweet brother Marty passed away early yesterday morning.  He fought so hard and courageously this past year.  Despite his prognosis we truly thought with his positive attitude that he could beat it.  Words can’t describe how much we will miss him.  His service will be 11:00 Sunday February 16th at Temple Beth Shalom 7300 Hart Lane Austin Texas.  If you can please keep Marty, his family and my mom in your prayers.
