Journal
This holiday season hasn’t been one to remember. Mom’s vision is slowly deteriorating and we’re hoping against hope that she will make it to late January, so she can get the surgery she so desperately needs. She has lost almost all of her ability to read any lettering smaller than two inches or so.
She is also still suffering from chronic fatigue and her cardiologist will be contacted this week, in hopes that an appointment can be made soon, so some answers and solutions can be found.
We’ve forgone decorations this holiday season, as there are more pressing matters at hand. Hopefully we’ll find more to celebrate come the new year.
If if you are nearby and have the time, please phone her or stop by and say hello. She often is alone and seeing a friendly face or hearing a familiar voice can make all the difference in the world.
As as always we ask if you can spare anything financially, it would be deeply appreciated. The number of medical bills are stacked high and affording the multiple treatments and doctor visits is becoming increasingly tough. You can find the link to her GoFundMe page here on this site. Martha has done so much for those around her during her time here on Earth and even a little help for her goes a long way.
