Journal entry by Marta Buser

We are coming to the end of a wonderful weekend full of fun and grandkid games!!!  I started Friday with Ben at a paint and glaze store where he painted a baby t- Rex. then, then came home and spent the rest of the day with Bill and I. We had a great day and lots of fun is getting really good with our dog. Ruby loves to take him for walks in the field behind us. We spent Saturday at soccer, lacrosse and the city track meet. Johnny and Will ran very well at the meet and Will will do an eighth grade decathlon this week. I’m anxious to see how he does that! Saturday night we attended an event that was called behold Kansas City down at the liberty Memorial, we rode the bus down with several other Nativity questioners and attended a rosary, and asked, Eucharistic adoration. The music is beautiful and it was a lovely event. They estimate estimated 7 to 10,000 people were there along with about at least 50 Deacons, etc. The music was beautiful and it was a very blessed event. Our pastor Father Mike went with us in the bus and he was so helpful and kind below. It was pretty chilly while we sat out there. What a gift is my Catholic faith to me. We were bundled up like it was the middle of winter and of course I was still cold. Was filled with lacrosse games and then we met Billy Jackie, and the kids plus Matt and Ben at cactus grill to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!!! All in all a great weekend and so thankful for our many, many blessings!!!! God is SO good!!! Peace and blessings to all!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊
