Hey Everyone,
We are so thankful that we were able to have a sweet Christmas with mom and celebrate the birth of our Savior together. Mom always says how good the Lord is to her and we are thankful for her faithfulness to the Him. He is sustaining all of us.
Mom has finished her 1st round of Chemo and had a follow up with her Oncologist yesterday. Her white cell count was up, has better O2 levels, red cell count was a little lower and potassium was a little lower. There was a noticable difference in the tumor size reduction in her neck. Her bone numbers were better as well as kidney and liver function. So far she is testing well enough to get her second chemo treatment next week. After that she will have a CAT scan to evaluate any change in treatment based on disease response. Her cough has lessened as well. We are thankful for some positive news and continuing to pray for the Lord's guidance as we navigate the days ahead.
Prayer requests:
- For comfort, peace of mind, solid sleep, and that her pain remains low. She has been getting pain in her lower back, hips and tailbone area.
*Many people have asked for the best way to give to mom(we are not expecting anything, but do appreciate ppl asking) and we have decided as a family that sending any gifts through venmo to mom's account would be the best way for us to keep track of things and then for mom and dad to have quick access to it for any of her current needs.
Her Venmo is: Marla_Bodnar
If you don't have venmo please download the app and search for her username above. If you unable to use Venmo please reach out to one of thr family members.
Thank you so much for all of your continued prayers, kindness, generosity, love and support. We are beyond grateful.
