Dear Friends and Family,

 With a broken heart I am posting to let you know that my sweet husband, Mark Walters, passed away on Monday, March 6^th. I had taken him to the hospital on February 20^th because he just didn’t seem right…he wasn’t eating and drinking very much. A few days later he was flown to Colorado Springs on life support to have constant EEG monitoring. After many complications, he passed away from aspiration pneumonia and uncontrolled seizures.  In the end I think that he was not aware of what was going on and passed peacefully. Shea, Sam and I are back in Durango, but we are so sad and miss him terribly.

I am very thankful for the time that we had together since his stroke in 2019. We were able to enjoy many wonderful moments. We took trips to places like Las Vegas and Disney World, had fun family adventures and romantic dates, and we cherished the time we shared. I am planning on having a Memorial/Celebration of Life service either on the 29^th or 30^th of April, and I will post again once these plans are solidified.
