Sign In to Show Your SupportSitting here on Day 5 Of "Chemo Week" and I'm reflecting on How lucky I am(WHAT DID I SAY ?!!"LUCKY?!!") Yes, Lucky. Lisa and I follow a couple of other people on this site who Have the same cancer I do (actually, more Lisa than me) and unfortunately I am the only one still able to fight. I Have to give the credit to my Physical Therapists. (Kasey & Lori) Wood county had the chance to purchase a new piece of equipment (It's called a Rehab Arch, But I call it "The Rack" and because I tend to "leave a mark" wherever I visit I was right at the front of their thoughts when they saw it. Now I wasn't the first to use it nor am I the only one they bought it for, but when I went to Occupational Therapy (O.T.) yesterday before Physical Therapy (P.T.) my O.T.(Bree said the other patients expressed how much it was helping their affected arm as well as their legs, she said we may need to get "divorced"To which I said I haven't even tried it yet, maybe we should just "Take a Break" for awhile in case I need to come back?) So, After we laughed, I jokingly asked if this meant I had her "permission" to "see" other therapists (She laughed and said only if she can "see" other patients to which I agreed, so we temporarily parted ways on good terms. I "pushed " the rack around the tack for four laps and people I hadn't even met stopped to watch me go around the track and all cheered me on (It was like my own personal Olympics - Lol!!!)
