Mark's one-year PET scan this week was CLEAR !!!! This is the best news we could hope for. What a difference a year makes!!! Last year he had just been discharged from MD Anderson in Houston from having his CAR-T therapy.  This year his hair has grown back, most of his blood work is back to normal and he is in the process of getting his vaccinations again. We are SO GRATEFUL for the scientists who invented this, for Dr. Anthony his oncologist in Hendersonville, and all of you for your  support. In case you ever wonder if your comments on Caring Bridge matter -- during those long hours and days of his recovery we frequently read and re-read the comments on Caring Bridge to remind ourselves that even though it FELT like we were alone, we really weren't.  We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
