Mark’s Story

Site created on August 23, 2020

As many know, Mark Olson loves to bike. On Saturday mornings he can often be found with his group of riders enjoying the outdoors and community of each other. On Saturday August 22nd he was with this group of riders when he was unable to avoid a large pot hole and crashed hard. He was non responsive on scene and was rushed to the Perham hospital. From there, as his riding group looked on, he was flown by helicopter to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. It was determined he needed surgery to stop bleeding and pressure on his brain and went immediately into the OR. He was in surgery for about five hours. The doctors have removed a potion of his skull which will remain off for the time being. Mark was then moved to ICU where he is monitored.

As we know, Mark is known and loved by so many people, we as family wanted to have a central place for everyone to stay connected. Mark is surrounded by so much love and support from all of you. We thank you for  visiting our site and for supporting Mark in this time.
