*As I am sitting here trying my best to find the right words of gratitude for all of our friends and family and even people we don't individually know, that for whatever reason caused them to pray for Mark through his battle and way beyond the battle. THANK YOU! xo
*Some of you gave gifts and many were with no name on them just in Mark's honor! Thank You! xo
Honoring someone who passes that had a heart for a particular cause and you know they gave to it or would have loved to have given more to these causes, your gift honors them! Some times it is just because YOU CAN give where some else can't! Or you choose a different cause to honor their name because that person impacted you in some way special way! THANK YOU!
.... I want to encourage you to find something to give to and give till it hurts! YOU will feel an overwhelming blessing!
Mark and I used to brain storm and pray about this often!
In Amercia there are many needs and we can all give more than we do and pray more for where we can fill in the gaps for others!
*Some gave our family gifts as a group of people and I will not be able to tell who was a part of those groups! SOOOO THANK YOU! You impacted our lives! May God bless you ALL ten fold! xo
*Many made and brought food, sent food, provided ways to get food! THANK YOU! That week was a BLESSING to my family and to me! May your families be blessed ten fold for your time and treasure! xo
*Many sent extremely thoughtful gifts that made me cry my eyes out when I opened them! I felt the love that went into your thoughtfulness and unbelievable efforts, May God show you how powerful you were during this time, when you think you are not impacting others, because you are! THANK YOU! xo
*Many sent my children food, cards, and other amazing gifts!
What a blessing you gave me to support my 3 adult children and their families as they grieve the loss of what they believe is the greatest Father and "Pop" in the world! Your generosity shows your authentic faith walk because many of you don't know me or some do not know my children at all, yet your love brings light to our souls! xo
*Many had food and snacks delivered to the ICU teams for a very long time in Mark's honor and respect for what they do to save lives! WOW! This gift was something I wanted, loved and will cherish because that kind of impact you don't see where it lands, but you know for sure, someone there was able to make it thru another tough day, or find hope in mankind, or a renewed faith, etc. etc.

*Many phone calls, messages, emails, texts, and continueous love for Mark and all he stood for on this earth! Checking in with me when we don't even know each other, but you knew the man I have loved and you knew that he would do the same for you! You are your brother's and sister's keeper! THANK YOU! xo
*Many have sent me pictures in your cards of him at different times in his life and in our life journey together...

...It reminds me that each moment in time is important with people you want to be influenced by (you become like the people you surround yourself with, choose wisely)...and how time together is so precious and valuable and can not be taken for granted. You are being watched and your example of life is influencing others!

*Many reminded me of moments that Mark impacted their life and what a BIG personality and Big influence he had on them, some in just a few moments they were with him on the golf course or around a poker table for the first time....and some like a brother, like a father, like a leader and a TRUE great friend! THANK YOU! You fill my heart with LOVE!
**The PRAYERS..WOW! Of course THE GREATEST gift you can give anyone ANYTIME, especially when they don't even know you are praying for them!
THANK YOU for this blessing that will be eternal!
**For every single one of you who bent a knee or bowed your head for even a moment to call out Mark's name, I am praying for you in return every day! I pray you find a deeper faith walk, that challenges you, blesses you, and empowers you to find, God's gifts that HE gave you specifically and I pray that you will use those gifts, like Mark used his gifts!! It is an honor to ask God to bless you, keep you and guide you through your life mission and His Will!

I want to write real heart felt THANK YOU NOTES... to those I can actually find the name and addresses to and I know you are not looking for a thank you, you did not do it for that reason or purpose! HOWEVER, it is not just good for me, it is always a blessing to return a blessing! Many generations that follow will not know the value of the time, the energy and the thoughts that go into a hand written heart felt note you mail someone...unless it is passed on by someone who does know it's value!!
I want each of you to remember the gift of supporting someone when they can barely breathe because of great loss!
.. THANK YOU! Because you did NOT just talk about someone on a Social Media outlets or groups ...or forward things about the person or situation ....or just clicked the like, care, love button or wrote condolences on the internet! You loved, respected and honored Mark and his family! THANK YOU!! xo
We must Love enough to never take for granted what a single moment or conversation via written word, in person, or posting something impacts in a positive or negative...way or can hurt someone.
We all have opinions formed by our circle of influence and what we CHOOSE to listen to, read or be apart of. CHOOSE wisely!
I am SOOO grateful that Mark was a positive powerful influence especially when you were lucky enough to be in his space and really get to know him! Let's get in the space of others to serve them by knowing them personally and start the shut down of the real nonsense of prideful influence, division and wasting of our valueable time!
I was privileged to go to Mark's graveside at Ft Sam on Friday with someone who Mark was an instructor and then 1st sgt. for in the Army, what a gift to see the kind of love that Mark poured into so many lives right along side his families, using his GOD GIVEN gifts and faith to influence and lead not with just for the purpose of his job description but to make sure each person he lead become a better person as a result of his leadership and influence!
Mark was a real leader, multiplying leaders that absolutely are impacting our Military, our World, our Society and for sure a reminder of how important our faith and morals are, even when we think no one is watching!
I take this seriously as I will be held with the greatest accountability and responsibility for how I choose to lead and influence!
AGAIN THANK YOU from the BOTTOM of a very very GRATEFUL HEART for pouring out YOUR LOVE to me and to my family!
