Journal entry by Joy Boies —
Today we went back to IC to get the results of Mark’s PET scan and bone marrow biopsy. We got the all clear, he is officially in remission! He will start on a maintenance regimen for the rest of his life. We ask how long the average myloema patient stays in remission and they said on average 2-3 years. They will keep a close eye on his blood for any change. We are so excited to be moving forward and hope that Mark continues on this awesome path. Tomorrow he will meet with his kidney dr to talk more about his kidneys are doing. We are so blessed with wonderful family and friends that have continued to keep us in their prayers throughout this time and we love you all!
I will try to make updates here over the months to let you know how Mark continues on this journey
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Mark's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
