Well, after months of fighting the cancer, mom's body finally gave in and she passed away this morning. While we grieve her loss, we know she is finally at peace and out of pain. 

Our family thanks everyone for their help, thoughts and prayers. We'd especially like to thank the staff of the Kansas City Hospice House. What a phenomenal group of professionals! Personally, I would like to thank those who have checked in on me over the last several months. The random texts, emails, calls and care packages were greatly appreciated. 

Per mom's wishes, there will not be any services. I will post where memorial contributions can be made in her name this weekend.
