First, we want to thank every one of you for the outpouring of love, generosity, and kindness that you've showered us with over the last five months. The support we have received since Mom's passing has been profound and immense. It has been the darkest, most difficult time in our lives and we would not have gotten through it without each and every one of you. Our Mom has been lucky to have you all in her life and we are incredibly grateful to reap the benefits.

Second, we would like to extend to you an invitation to a Celebration of Life honoring our one and only Marjorie Shapard Polk Burnett. This special event will take place on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 4pm at Stratton Hall in Chattanooga. The ceremony and celebration will take place indoors at Stratton Hall. We want to note there will also be plenty of room outside on the patio with an outdoor speaker system set up for those who feel more comfortable remaining outdoors. Please see the attached invitation for more details. In order to keep all of our loved ones safe, vaccines are encouraged and masks are required for those not yet vaccinated. Finally, several of you have asked for ways to help. Please know that you all have done more than enough and we could not be more grateful for the generosity and support you have already shown us. Though there is absolutely no expectation, several of you have made it known that you would like to help specifically with preparations for the Celebration of Life. Our dear friend, Katie McCall, is coordinating the flowers which will be arranged by the Clay Pot.
