Mario’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  We are so very appreciative to all of you for the cards, notes, emails, calls,  and goodies.  We feel the love and prayers coming our way.


 Mario will be moving into a new assisted living/memory care facility tomorrow.  It is called SuiteLiving and it is located directly across the street from Unity Hospital, where he has been residing for the past 16 days.  He will also be going into hospice tomorrow.  His spirits are good and he feels pretty good.  The nurses have been taking good care of him and keeping his pain at a tolerable level.  They have not, however, brought him the margarita he keeps asking for!  He is not able to come home because he is unable to walk  or stand due to the location of his cancer.  


We will send an update after he gets settled into his new place.  Thanks again for all of your concern for both of us.
