An unexpected blessing has happened!

The residence where Marion is is quite lovely - the staff is very kind and attentive, the common areas are bright and spacious, and - for the most part - the rooms are wonderful. Dad was in a strange situation, where he shared an ‘apartment’ with a gentleman who has some health issues that were making life…  unpleasant. I’ll leave it at that.

The facility is filled to capacity, but the staff worked a miracle and were able to move Dad to a private room much sooner than we anticipated. Hallelujah! The new room is larger, with a small kitchenette and - blessedly - a private bathroom. The staff was kind enough to move Dad’s belongings and are working to make it cozy and homey.

His phone number has changed, but if you call the house number, that should transfer over in the next day or two.
