Marilyn’s Story

Site created on February 17, 2024

Dear Family and Friends, welcome to our CaringBridge website.

We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Mid-December 2023 Marilyn was diagnosed with 2 Glioblastoma tumors.  Since her diagnoses she had brain surgery at North Memorial and spent 2 weeks going to PT and OT.  Marilyn tried Chemo and Radiation for awhile, but chose not to continue because of severe adverse reactions.   Marilyn has already received an outpouring of support and love from friends and family via thoughtful cards in the mail, supportive words via Facebook, and caring visitors while she was in the hospital and at home. She continues to be positive and very talkative. We understand that many are looking for ways to help and we thank you for your offering. Our Stepfather, Denny Chuba would appreciate visitors text him first to see if she is available to visit. You can text him at: 763-238-1501.

We appreciate your prayers, support, word of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

We would like to thank everyone for the enormous outpouring of love and condolences.  Our family is overwhelmed with gratitude for those who were able to share the visitations, prayer service and mass with us.  The memories of Marilyn are unique and beautiful to each us, and we loved hearing the impact she had on your life.  We are blessed to have such a great community of family and friends, and hope that when you think of Marilyn she brings a smile to your face.
