Marilyn’s Story

Site created on February 27, 2019

Thanks for visiting Marilyn's CaringBridge.  The first post on 2/28/19 is a doozy explaining everything Marilyn has gone through in this first month. We'll be updating more regularly going forward.

We all appreciate your words of hope and encouragement as we navigate this strange new world.

Journal entry by Kate Meyer

Some of you may have seen Mom's obituary, or will tomorrow.  Her desire was to have a gathering at Holy Cross church in Pearl Lake, which we will do Monday July 22 from 4-8ish. She did not desire any speakers, prayers, or funeral service thus it will be an opportunity to hear some of her favorite music, see our favorite pictures of her,  offer condolences and reminisce with friends.  We encourage those who wish to visit longer to head over to the school across the street for a light bite to eat.

Tuesday morning our immediate family will lay Mom's remains to rest in a private ceremony. We thank you for the condolences you have already given and our hearts are warmed by the stories shared.
