Journal entry by Kelley Selbher

This is a report that there is nothing new to report on Marilyn’s health.  Praise God! Thank you for your prayers.

She finished chemo in October and started hormone therapy in November.  Leonard and Marilyn were able to make their first trip to visit George and Kelley and the kids for Thanksgiving in their new home & church in Mauston, Wisconsin.

Her hair is growing back now. She had been told hair often comes back in thicker and darker after chemo.  So far she’s seeing a lot of gray hair.  But she’s thankful to have hair growing again.

Leonard had a glitch in his health and was in the hospital for part of a week with pneumonia and sepsis right after Thanksgiving.  Thankfully he pulled through and has slowly been gaining his strength back. They were able to fly to Idaho for granddaughter McKenna’s wedding in December and then journey back to Wisconsin to celebrate Christmas.

The New Year finds them back to the regular concerns of life -  living in the cold Minnesota winters while not getting any younger. They are keeping busy getting firewood into the house, keeping the snow cleared so they can get into the house, and working to thaw their frozen water pipes. God is good to give them loving friends who provide help when needed.

Please know they can always still use your prayers 😉.  Thank you!
