Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Marc and his parents, Mike and Linda, were in a tragic car accident in the early morning hours of November 27, 2020 in Ocoee, FL.  They had just spent the most wonderful Thanksgiving with longtime family friends Todd and Annie Crow.  Linda was driving with Mike in the passenger seat and Marc in the back seat giving his mom directions on the way home.  Not far from home, Linda had to veer out of the way of an oncoming vehicle that was in her lane.  The other vehicle impacted their car on the passenger side.  Sadly, Mike did not survive.  Marc is in the neuro intensive care unit in downtown Orlando and fighting.  He has head trauma and the doctors are working to reduce the swelling.  Linda is alert and communicating and knows what happened.  She does have some broken bones and is in surgery now to repair her wrist, while also being monitored closely to prevent pneumonia.   Several of Mike and Linda's close friends immediately drove from Atlanta to be by Linda's side.   The Shaw family needs your prayers, please feel welcome to share this site and post well wishes for us to share with the family.  We  will do our best to provide daily updates.

December 2, 2020 - Our Hero is in Heaven

Marc Shaw is in heaven with his lord and savior.  Marc has provided his liver, kidney and heart to matching recipients across the country.  Marc just won the biggest championship of his life by these heroic gifts of life. He was in his savior’s zone as he gracefully transitioned his life to the donor recipients.  Marc’s championship this evening was remarkable beyond words and worthy of the highest honor! Thank you Marc for your service to humanity!  We all love You Marcus Shaw!
