Marcia’s Story

Site created on October 11, 2018

Step into our Caring Bridge site. We are building this to establish and maintain updates for my family and friends. I learned on October 1st that life had taken a left turn.  Doctors said I was living with pancreatic cancer which had already advanced to stage 4. I have begun to receive hospice care and am now at home, enjoying the love and connections I have with family and friends near and far.  ~Marcia

Journal entry by Greta Lind

Marcia Yoder Lind passed away this morning,  Monday, October 29.

It was perfect. Verna, our favorite Angel hospice nurse was here. She asked who else Mom might need to talk to. (She seemed to be holding on...) We reached out to Michael and got him on video-call. He saw her and spoke directly to her. With all of us surrounding Mom and singing to her “There are angels hovering round” (Mary, Soni, Roger, Bennett, Anne, me, and Michael also with us), she passed. It was absolutely beautiful, transcendent, loving, and full of God‘s grace.
