We were blessed to, again, be able, to enjoy a good time in Fla. for about two and a half months. Despite some unusually varying weather conditions we were able to get outside to walk most days and had great visits with friends and neighbors.. It was definitely worth the effort of flying back home every three weeks for infusions.
Once again, results of Marcia’s latest MRI, this time from May 3, have still not been evaluated and reported on. But… we did meet with her surgeon. He has looked at the films and says all looks unchanged and will advise if the report comes in showing anything to be concerned about he will call us. So, we continue to be thankful that Marcia’s condition remains stable and that there has been no indication of evidence of any cancer activity having returned. We are so thankful the chemo infusions seem to be working. It has now been about two and a half years since discovery and removal of her tumor. To be cancer free for that long after her type of brain tumor and surgery is very remarkable. We have even heard the word “miracle” mentioned by some of her medical care staff. Is it really any wonder, with all the prayers from people talking with our loving God in her/our behalf??
We think not…,
Karen, a relatively new friend and neighbor in Fla., commented; “thank you for keeping us posted, it fuels the faith big time”.
I thought what a great comment and thanks to Caringbridge for having this platform to enable us to “fuel the faith” of you all which is so supportive. I will continue to do so and report any significant changes should they occurred.
We wish you all a very blessed summer and thanks to you again for your continued prayers, support and love.
