It’s Sunday night and here is hoping you all had a good weekend. I think Mom did! I went over yesterday and when I got there, John was just finishing up a fresh shampoo and hairstyle. I was able to help her take a shower just after that. Other than sponge baths, this was the first shower in quite a while! She said it felt great!
While we did the shower, John went out and got a Subway sammich, went to get Molly some food and did grocery shopping. We forgot it was the weekend before Thanksgiving so the market was crowded! 🤪
I’m impressed with the way she is getting around with the walker. I almost had to tell her to slow down a couple of times.
She is going to have another PT home visit this week and a visit with the cardio surgeon. This will be her first visit with home since her surgery. We wrote down several questions for him and he better have some answers! 😆
We looked back at some dates and it has already been almost one month since the bypass. She will most like.y get to start on a cardio rehab program soon. Not really sure what that is yet but will find out this week.
