Our Nonna passed tonight to a more peaceful and pain free place… She had a few days of alertness last week and was able to say good bye to her closest family and friends.
She is donating her body to Mayo and when we are able, we will plan a celebration of her life and love.
We are grateful for all of the support on this journey❤️ With an extra special thanks to our Aunt Lita Lawler who has taken every step with us all- she is an extraordinary human.
In the words of Bessie Anderson Stanley,
“To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children… to leave the world a bit better… to know even one life had breathed easier because you had lived, that is to have succeeded.”
