Dear friends and family,

With heavy hearts, we share the news that Mandy Huffman O'Brien passed away peacefully early this afternoon, surrounded by her loving family. Mandy was diagnosed with stage 4 large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma last fall, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. She fought every moment with remarkable courage and grace.

For most of her battle, Mandy didn't let her cancer slow her down until just over a month ago when she developed pneumonitis after a severe reaction to a strong immunotherapy. From that point, her health declined rapidly. Just yesterday, she ceased radiation treatments for her brain tumors and began hospice care.

Despite the many challenges this past month has brought, Mandy's positivity never wavered. Her infectious spirit touched everyone around her and will continue to do so, even in her absence. Her passing leaves a significant void in the lives of many, but she will forever remain in our hearts.
