Quick update.  Most importantly, Froedert is giving Mandy excellent care!   She is not in any pain and is feeling much better.  Her hemoglobin was really low so they gave her a blood transfusion and some IV antibiotics and some Tylenol for the fever. 

Right now it’s sounding like the brain radiation is going to trump any other trials at this time. The recommendation is to do whole brain radiation since she has 11 tumors on imaging & likely has microscopic cancer cells that aren’t visible on imaging yet. They’d like her to see someone at Theda for that in Appleton. He used to be the head of the brain radiation/oncology at Froedert & they spoke highly of him.

It sounds like she’ll be heading back to home in the next couple of days. They’re giving her high dose steroids again to help with the edema around the larger tumors. She is receiving excellent care, is not in any pain.
