On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, we scattered Mom’s ashes into the sea (and wind) — just as she wished.
We took a boat out to the San Francisco Bay near Angel Island, spent a few more moments with her, and took our last family photo with her.
Mom loved the ocean and would visit every chance she got. She happily spent time along the coasts and beaches of California, Australia, Vietnam, and more.
Dad says she’s now experiencing oceans (and a life) more beautiful than we can imagine.
