Today the Magster took a little tumble at the roller rink.

She was having the time of her life at the rink with her sister, Sarah, and didn’t know quite when to quit. Her muscles got tired and she fell, and couldn’t get back up. An ambulance came and got her and brought her to Ridges hospital. 

An x-ray showed she broke both her right shoulder and hip. Due to her age they are going to do a hip replacement. 

Surgery for her arm/shoulder is tomorrow, and her hip is on Friday. She will then likely be in the hospital for 2 weeks rehabilitating. 

She is once again hopped up on painkillers and is self limiting her social media usage lol. She wanted me to say “it was worth it.” Haha 

She also insists she will be back at it once she recovers but her children have less dangerous activities in mind. You can take girl out of the rink (by stretcher), but you can’t take the rink out of the girl.
