Journal entry by Peggy Duffy —
Happy Spring, Friends and Family! It is difficult to believe, but it was one year ago in April that Maggie received her ASPS diagnosis, and a year ago last week that she had her surgery. Our family is so very grateful for everyone's thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and good vibes. It truly does mean a great deal to us.
Yesterday, Maggie had her scans, which she is still getting every three months, and met with her oncologist. We are happy to say that she is now one year cancer-free! Your support over the past year means so much to us. We understand how difficult the last 15 months have been for everyone. We are all spinning a bit and doing our best to navigate, manage, and understand what our world is going through. On top of that, we understand that you all have busy lives, so the fact that you have taken the time to think of Maggie and/or reach out with messages, questions, phone calls, etc. is incredible and humbling.
Thank you, again, for everything! We are, as ever, beyond grateful!
Peace and Love,
Maggie, Allan, Peggy, Quinn, and Regan
