Maeve’s Story

The last few days have been a whirlwind. On Thursday, I started bleeding heavily and rushed to the hospital. My placenta had a partial abruption and was sending my body into labor. After things seemed to be stabilizing Thursday night we were thinking I would be on bed rest for the coming weeks/months but Maeve had other plans. Maeve Anne Mullee was born on Friday 11/17 at 8:57 AM at 25 weeks 1 day. Weighing 1 lb 8 oz and 12” 1/4’ in length. While there have been lots of ups and downs (more ups than downs) over the last few days Maeve is in the best hands at Children’s NICU. We will be posting updates here to keep everyone in the loop. Please keep the prayers and thoughts coming for our brave Maeve!

After 109 days in the NICU Maeve is finally home! We can’t thank everyone enough for all the love, support, and prayers through this journey. It has made the world of difference. We are very excited to start our next journey at home as a family!
