Madonna’s Story

On December 15th, 2020 mom was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage 2A. "Breast cancer".  After a week of testing including, repeat mammograms, ultrasound, MRI and a biopsy, she found out that the cancer is HER-2 positive which means that she will need aggressive chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and then radiation.  This will be a long road but with love and support and her ever strong faith, she will beat this!!    As you can see in the pictures we had a wonderful Christmas with mom and dad, spending extra time together knowing the long road to come.  Her doctors decided to wait until after Christmas to start treatments and procedures to let mom enjoy the holidays.   Love, Chrissy

Ring that bell Mama!!!!!!!

Mom is ringing the bell because yesterday was her last treatment!!!!!!    What a rollercoaster of emotions that mom handled with grace and soooo much Faith!  She could not have done this without support of dad, family, friends, and her very strong Faith in her Heavenly Father, whom, she has grown very close with during her battle with cancer. 🤍🤍 

She is feeling good!!!  (I wasn’t able to upload the video on here. I will update it on my Instagram). 

Next steps…..
Mammogram in February.
Labs, oncologist exam and port flush in April.
