Madison’s Story

Site created on January 19, 2019

Madison is my darling daughter. She’s kind and caring and sweet. She started to become ill when she was pregnant with her son, Edward.
In December 2018, she had gall bladder surgery and has since gotten progressively sicker and sicker.  She is currently in the surgical ICU in Duluth. She is suffering from severe pancreatitis, liver failure, aspirative pneumonia and is on a breathing machine as well as having a chest tube, a tube in her stomach, two picc lines and a central picc line in her neck. She is swollen and jaundiced from excess bile and from the infection in her pancreas.
I will update daily or as often as I can.

Journal entry by Bridget O'Sullivan

Good morning.
Thank this will be my last post on caring bridge.
I’ve recently discovered that this forum is how people who would seek to do madison harm have been monitoring her location. (Can you imagine someone wanting to hurt such a sweet girl?)
So I will no longer update this site.
If you wish to have updates, feel free to email me and I would be happy to let you know how she is progressing in her healing.
Thank you for all your love and kindness to our family throughout this wild experience.
