It's been awhile since we have updated but thankfully in this case - no news equals good news. It's hard to believe that December 16 is one year since Madison started her fight against cancer and her first chemo treatment. A lot of emotions are felt when we look back at what the past year brought our family, but especially Madison. 

We received amazing news last week at Madisons 3 month scans that she is still in remission and her scans were all clear! We are so thankful and ask for your continued prayers that these scans continue to stay clear and her cancer be gone for good!!

Madison has been busy with school and doing all the things that are part of her senior year. She finished filling out her college applications and now we are just waiting for her to decide on which college fits her best. We were also able to finally take our family vacation to Mexico that we had to cancel shortly after Madisons diagnosis. We had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying some much needed uninterrupted family time. Madison has also been busy with lots of extra activities at school- including sharing her story of the hurdles she faced in the last year and the ways God, her faith, her family and friends helped her through it. We couldn't be more proud to see her use her gift of words and speaking to touch others with her amazing story. 

We want to again, thank everyone who has touched our family in the past year. Whether it be meals, helping with our children, prayers, words of encouragement,  etc. We know that God placed each and every one of you in our lives during that difficult time. We are so thankful for the gift of community!
