Yesterday I received the best Christmas present, I found out that I am CANCER FREE! Throughout my journey with Acute Myeloid Leukemia I have learned how important of a role my community, friends, family, medical team & God play in my life. I'm so thankful for everyone who prayed for me or sent me a message, card, gift, etc. You have no idea how important the support was to me, especially at times when I felt the only person who had control over my body & disease was God himself. Cancer has changed me within the past few months but I have refused to let it defeat me. I BEAT CANCER, I'm a cancer SURVIVOR!
