One Year Post-Op! Today we celebrated Maddox’s first “Cranioversary”, as I’ve learned to call it from other parents of kids with craniosynostosis.
We had a follow up appointment a couple months ago with Dr. Tibesar, one of the surgeons who operated on Maddox last year, and they were happy with his results and progress. No need to follow up until he’s 3 years old!
Maddox is currently almost 17 months old. He loves cars, soccer, Luke Bryan (like his brother), climbing everything, Micky Mouse, Baby Shark, and making people giggle by being silly and hiding or running away or playing peek-a-boo.
Maddox is busy but so cuddly and loving when he takes time so slow down.
He’s saying more and more words every day, and loves babbling your ear off.
This past year has been a journey, and it’s safe to say he is truly one tough dude! We love this little one SO much ❤️
