We found a lump on Maci's Rt ribs on Aug 7th 2018.  After multiple test, along with one surgery, it was found to be a Ewing's Sarcoma.  With God's help, we will get through this.  Maci is upbeat and willing to take on this fight.  Her attitude is contagious and will bless anyone who comes in contact with her.

Thanks for visiting !!!

Journal entry by Chad Lane

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19:1‬ ‭

I’ve been waiting to do a last post for some time now. Sitting on this beach this morning is that time. As I sit here with nothing but the sound of Gods creation I’m reminded that we are all Gods creation. And if He can make the waters stop at the shore, if He can make the skys have a boundary, if He can give the sun a pattern, why do we not think He can handle our situation? He’s got it!

Maci’s journey is just a small part of His overall story. And as a family, we are honored to be in that story. God has showed Himself to us in ways we never imagined. I said it when we first started, our situation has changed but He hasn’t. And now, as I sit on this same beach our situation has changed again, for the better, He still hasn’t. I find great joy and peace in that. No matter what we face in this life, He is the constant that can get you through. You just have to be available to Him. That availability is made possible by a relationship with His son, Jesus Christ. I urge any that don’t know this relationship to start asking the hard questions and seek Him out. It will be the best decision of your life. There WILL be hard times, there WILL be trials, you WILL face opposition, but He WILL be with you.

God is good, All the time.

Maci finished her treatment in June and rang the bell. That was a great sound. She will continue to have regular checkups that include blood work and imaging scans of the area and her body.

The Staff at the Cancer Center in Greenville and the Nursing staff in the Hospital are the best around. They not only care for you, they Care. They have become friends. It’s not a friendship that we would have asked for, but it is one that is truly a blessing. I can’t say enough. I would post names but I would leave someone out. We truly Love them, and Maci does as well.

We, as a family, want to thank each and every person that reached out to us, that visited in the hospital, that stopped by the house, that brought food, that bought gift cards, that gave, each and every gift has been used and appreciated. But mostly we want to thank each and every person for there prayers. To have others lifting you up to the King of Kings is the greatest gift you can give someone. God hears His children. We couldn’t have fault this battle without your support.

With Love

Chad, Hope, Meghan, Maci....and Zoe.
